Shilajit is a natural herbal extract (supplement) which exists in solid or paste form, depending on the temperature or water content.

Shilajit has over 80 minerals (approximately 85). The most famous minerals in Shilajit are Fulvic acid, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and Selenium. Others may include Humic acid, Benzoic acid, Phenolic acids, Oxalic acid, Tannic acid, vitamin B2 and B12, vitamin C, vitamin E, Copper, Zinc, Silicon, Nickel, Potassium, Sulfur, Silver, Sodium, Barium, Carotenoids retinol, Chromium, Strontium, Dibenzo-alpha pyrones, Rubidium, Cesium, Antimony, Vanadium, Molybdenum, Phosphorus, Glycosides, Terpenoids, Melanoidin, Polyphenol complexes, Phospholipids Triterpenes, Albuminoids, Bioflavonoids, and Iodine.

Shilajit results due to the decomposition of the plants, herbs, and organic elements over thousands, possibly millions, of years.

Shilajit is extracted in the raw form from the stone like pebbles. The impurities are removed through modern processes of purification, including the use of natural mineral water to remove the heavy toxins. It is then heated in a vacuum bath at low temperatures to remove any excess water and keep the integrity of the nutrients.

Test 1: Take a small amount of Shilajit and press it in your front teeth. If there is any grit, it is not pure Shilajit

Test 2: Dissolve the Shilajit in water. If it is not fully dissolved, it is not pure Shilajit

Test 3: Burn the Shilajit. If it catches fire, it is not a pure Shilajit

Shilajit is recommended in the morning with empty stomach for best absorption. If you are taking medications, consult with your doctor before use as Shilajit increases absorption of other substances. May be safer to take separate from other medications that have side effects. User discretion is advised.

Shilajit has a bitter strong taste and pungent smell. That is how you know it is good for you (:

Your body system is not adapted to Shilajit. You need to adjust the Shilajit quantity with your body. Lower the amount of Shilajit and drink more water or liquid. Once your body is aligned with the Shilajit quantity, you can increase the Shilajit quantity. You can also consult with your doctor to know if you can take Shilajit or not.

Shilajit is a natural supplement. You can continue its use for as long as you feel its benefits. It does not have long-term side effects. Shilajit is not a medicine prescription. You are in total control of deciding the time frame of using Shilajit. Many people use Shilajit in their dietary plan.
